11th June 2017 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F6/F7 Surf / Sea State: logo peaks and waves Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Loads of wind forecast so went for a morinng sail when gauges still read only mid 20s knots. Had good hour on 86/4,2 until it got too windy. Only tried one front side as far better sailors said even they were having some trouble ( I am happy not to fall off whereas they moan if not vertical enough) Good waves on outside to turn off and breakers in bay to race down. Only got rinsed once today as learning bit more and mid range tides seem to generate smaller surf i.e not battling out through 2m walls and surf. Felt a bit more in control in testing conditions a few were sitting out. Ace. Big jumps by pros. |
